Self-Affirmations

I discovered something while on a road trip over the Thanksgiving holiday when I wanted to talk to my sponsor but neither was alone nor had good cell service: I remembered what she always told me, that I was loved unconditionally by her as well as lots of others. So I decided to text that to myself, not knowing it it would work. But it did! I then locked the text so I can't delete it and I have this nice long text from myself telling myself that I am loved. I did this after leaving my family of origin's house where I don't feel loved. As one who doesn't always appreciate technology, I certainly did that day! Try it for yourself. Who knew you could text yourself!
